Bio:

Hilton George is the owner, creator and co-founder of the largest black nerd convention on the eastern seaboard, Blerdcon. Blerdcon is the largest multifandom convention in the country focused on showcasing “blerd” culture, diversity and inclusion for intersectional communities (LGBTQIA, Disabled, Latinx) in comics, anime, gaming, cosplay, scifi, horror, fantasy and music. He is also the owner of TheBlackSquare providing marketing and events consultancy. Prior to that he was a Signal Communications Circuit Controller in the US Army. A graduate of North Carolina Central, he holds a bachelor’s degree in design and visual communications. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
